    Haomarush was among the leaders of the last remnants of the demon-worshipping Orcs, all under the rule of Jubei'Thos (Jubei'Thos, an orc blademaster, took up leadership of the Blackrock Clan orcs who managed to elude capture by the humans when Doomhammer disappeared.) and the Blackrock clan (The Blackrock clan led the charge during both the first and second wars, and during that time period, was one of the largest and most feared of the orc clans.). Being one of the lesser Blademasters (The Blademasters are an orc gladiator classWoWRPG 104 HPG 194 who are known for masterfully wielding swords or other weapons on the field of battle.) within the clan, Haomarush was given command over a small contingent of the Blackrock Scouts, which he used to survey the area around the Alterac mountains ( UndeadOgre

    The Alterac Mountains is the location of the former nation of Alterac and the city-state of Dalaran, and its chief settlements included the City of Alterac, Dalaran and Strahnbrad.), where they had constructed a settlement to guard a demon gate. During one of his scouts, however, his troops ran into Arthas (Arthas Menethil, Crown Prince of Lordaeron and Knight of the Silver Hand, was the son of King Terenas Menethil II and heir to the throne.), and the dark prince quickly routed and killed them all.[1]

    His name is likely a reference to Haohmaru, the main character in the Samurai Spirits series of fighting games.
